Wild Mustangs, New Adventures, and a Lesson from Last Year

Hi friends,
Last week I had the chance to attend the Extreme Mustang Makeover event in Lexington, Kentucky. It was incredible to be surrounded by so many people who share a deep passion for America’s wild mustangs. One of the highlights was meeting several of you in person—faces behind familiar names that have followed my journey on social media.
In just a few weeks, I’ll be heading out west for a three-week trip to photograph more wild horses. This year, we’re going later in the season in hopes of avoiding the spring storms that gave us trouble in the past. I’m planning to share the journey with you through TikTok lives, videos, and updates across social platforms—so stay tuned!
The photo below is one of the few I captured last year before my camera fell out of my bag and broke—cutting the trip short. It was taken just before sunset, about an hour before everything changed. A reminder that things can shift in a moment, and to always appreciate the view while we have it.
Wishing you a beautiful summer,—Tim
